I really really want you guys to make an effort to talk to each other!!! Friendship is a very important thing in the real world. I know that some of you feel that being in the first class means that you have to work hard and concentrate so as to stay ahead but to truth is that some people may really want to know you better but you might be too busy studying- you might have just lost your chance to have a lifetime friend.

Furthermore, I respect the decision of you guys wanting to study so as to get a good future but one day when you get a job, you will start to think of the good times in school and how you were TOO BUSY thinking of the your studies. Teachers have been talking about how your studies will follow you for the rest of your life but so does your friends. Hiyas! It's me and congrats to everyone,we have survived through the year and it's the start of the holis! =D But I have something in mind that I would certainly like to write it here.As we all know,when there's a start to something there's always an end to it.It's the end of school this year and it also meant that it's coming to the end of 2e1'08 as well as the blogs too.

I must say,having to see the joint efforts of class decorations being taken off and thrown,I am really really heartbroken.Having to think that we may be separated into different classes next year is even saddening.I am glad we have atleast a class t,to remember.It's all our memories of 2e1.

But no matter what,2e1'08 will forever be a whole,not apart.I really hope,somedays to come when you guys happen to hear "2e1" being mentioned,you will smile and recall all the memories together throughout the year and say :"hey,that's my ex-class!"

Hey hey!!

That time during biology lesson i asked some of you if they had heard cases in which the embryo grows in the fallopian tube as i am unsure myself. I went home and researched and found out that there IS such cases. It is called ectopic pregnancy.

An ectopic pregnancy is a complication of pregnancy in which the fertilized ovum is implanted in any tissue other than the uterine wall. Most ectopic pregnancies occur in the Fallopian tube (so-called tubal pregnancies), but implantation can also occur in the cervix, ovaries, and abdomen. In a normal pregnancy, the embryo should implant itself in the uterine lining of the uterus. The causes are unknown.

Thick mucus production, as well as a less competent immune system, results in frequent lung infections. Cystic fibrosis is one of the most common life-shortening, childhood-onset inherited diseases.

Inheritance:

Diaphragm (Birth control method):

It is inserted sometime before sexual intercourse. It also catches menstrual flow. There are also risks such as urinary tract infection and toxic shock syndrome, which is rare.

Contraceptive pills:

It contains both oestrogen and progesterone. Progesterone helps to suppress ovulation. Menstruation will still occur. Contraceptive pills were developed to prevent ovulation by suppressing the release of gonadotropins.

Haha. Long time never post already. Common test finally over!! Yay!! But than, end-of-year is just round the corner.

I think the timing for the outing we should discuss as a class. I was thinking that maybe we split the outing days into two lor. Than those who cannot go for one of the day than go for the other. But than like that than like defeats the purpose of the class gathering leh. haha. I contradict my ownself. haha. :D But than one thing good about splitting up the days is that everyone is able to go for it. so... depends!!

Anyways,about the class gathering,it's a great idea to have a gathering once in a while for us to bond.We should plan properly.First I think we need to settle on the place to go and the people going.

I must say, things are getting a bit weird in the class blog... From the appearance of a non-2E1 outsider whom I shall not name ( Julian ) to my uncle... My own flesh and blood getting ...... um...... more...... Marcusy ( couldn't find a word to describe )But I guess this is because our class is undergoing " puberty". As in our friendliness is getting better to the point that we can laugue ( a mixture of laugh and argue ) and that we are getting more talkative. I think it's because of Humairah's continuous motivation in encouraging us to be ourselves- Our weird and nonsensical selves. Good job Humairah!

Antarctica's massive Wilkins Ice Shelf has begun disintegrating under the effects of global warming, The collapse of a substantial section of the ice shelf was triggered on February 28 when an iceberg measuring 41 by 2.4 kilometers broke off its southwestern front.

That movement led to disintegration of the shelf's interior, of which 414 square kilometers has already disappeared.
As a result, a large part of the 12,950 square kilometer Wilkins Ice Shelf -- Antarctica's largest ---- is now supported by a 5.6kilometer (3.5 mile) strip of ice between two islands "If there is a little bit more retreat, this last 'ice buttress' could collapse and we'd likely lose about half the total ice shelf area in the next few years,"
said a scientist.

Over the past half century, the western Antarctic Peninsula has experienced the biggest temperature
increase on Earth, 0.5 degrees Celsius per decade."We believe the Wilkins has been in place for at
least a few hundred years, but warm air and exposure to ocean waves are causing a breakup," said Scambos, who first spotted the disintegration in March.

With the Antarctic summer drawing to a close, scientist does not expect the ice shelf to further disintegrate in the next several months.

"This unusual show is over for this season," said Scambos. "But come January, we'll be watching to see if the Wilkins continues to fall apart."

Ice shelf breakup in the Antarctic -- more than 13,000 square kilometers have been lost over the past 50 years – could significantly increase ocean levels around the world.

According to some calculations based on present sea level rise of three millimeters per year, ocean levels could rise by 1.4 meters by the end of the century.

Pls do not try to reach for the pull up pole when you are in uniform! I'm referring to the one that boys have to do in sec 3. The way one that you have to jump for to reach. I jumped for it but lost my grip. I plunged to the floor and landed on my butt. I could not stand up or band for a while. Only try that when you are wearing PE uniform or 10 underwears to soften the blow.

Please learn from my mistake! I don't wan't to see my hurt because I'm not strong enough to carry you.

Some of you might have failed some subjects but all you have to do is work harder. Just remember that as long as you work hard and believe in yourself that you would be able to achieve your goals. So jia you!! The only thing that is keeping you from working hard is yourself. Must learn to CONTROL!!

Mother tongue class test
3 April: Science class test- chapter 26
7 april: History class test- Not sure which chapter!!
9 april: Home econs class test- chapters 3 and 6
10 april: Geography class test

Ok,i am blogging to inform you guys that there is this International Friendship Day Competition going on.We'll have to design one of our noticeboards which is the one nearest to the front door.
Our Theme is: Indonesian
Due Date:7 April 08
We'll be decorating that noticeboard with Indonesia's sports. I hope that many of you can contribute to it.Such as giving ideas or researching on the various Indonesian sports. =D

haha yea it's really wasted as the "full of 2e1" background that Agus spent time and effort writing will currently not be up on the noticeboard. =X I really hope that we can win the class notice board comp again! =D
